Jay qualified as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours at King’s College London in 2014. During his time at King’s College London, he was awarded the Emslie academic award and the Richard De Metz award. 

Following graduation, Jay has worked in both general dental practice and in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery units at the Royal London Hospital and Whipps Cross Hospital. He also gained Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. 

Jay has developed a passion for Periodontology, which involves diagnosing and managing conditions affecting the structures that support the teeth. He currently on a specialty training pathway at Guy’s hospital, whilst also being an active member of the British Society of Periodontology (BSP).
