Harminder gained his Membership in Prosthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and completed his MClinDent in Prosthodontics with Distinction at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Dentistry, King’s College London in 2017, marking the completion of his specialist training. He originally qualified from the same institution with a First Class Honours BSc in Biomaterials Science with Oral Biology followed by a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2003.
He has worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the South West of England, where he developed his skills in surgical dentistry and gained experience in managing medically compromised patients. Harminder has also worked extensively in general dental practice over the past 20 years.
In addition to his role at Warwick Lodge, Harminder works as an Associate Specialist at Guy’s Dental Hospital. His clinical practice there includes the management of complex restorative cases, patients with hypodontia, and those requiring multidisciplinary care. His work involves treatment planning and the rehabilitation of patients with missing teeth using dentures, bridges and implant-based restorations.
Harminder is committed to dental education and holds a Certificate in Postgraduate Education from the University of Bedfordshire. He has taught undergraduate students and currently teaches and supervises postgraduate dentists at Guy’s Hospital in prosthodontic dentistry.
His areas of interest include the management of hypodontia, implant restoration, complete dentures for patients with significant ridge resorption, severe tooth wear, and complex restorative cases.
