Welcome to Warwick Lodge

Warwick Lodge is a bespoke state of the art specialist dental centre conceived to enable provision of treatment in a comfortable setting, meeting the highest standards expected in modern health care delivery.

The present practice was set-up over 25 years ago by Professor Richard Palmer who was joined by his brother Dr Paul Palmer in 1989, and who has been the other senior partner since 1994. The practice was originally confined to periodontics, a discipline that embraced implant dentistry from its inception. Both Richard and Paul have over 20 years experience in implant dentistry, Richard having been appointed the first Professor of Implant Dentistry in the UK and Paul having been appointed as a Consultant in Periodontology with a special interest in implant dentistry with Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Trust at Guy's Hospital. They are dedicated to providing specialist dentistry at the highest level and to training of dental professionals both at undergraduate and post-graduate level. They lecture nationally and internationally, and have published widely including three specialist textbooks.

With increasing demand for specialist treatment the practice has, over the years, recruited other specialists within periodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics and dental imaging. The majority of patients attending Warwick Lodge are referred to the practice through their general dental practitioners for all or part of their treatment. The dentists at Warwick Lodge liaise closely with the patient's own dentist to ensure the highest standard of care. All patients retain their general dental practitioner for routine care and to whom they are returned once their specific treatment is completed. Periodontal patients may be retained on long-term maintenance programmes at the practice to ensure their continuing stability.

Warwick Lodge Dental Practice COVID-19

In the best interests of our patients, colleagues and clinicians we have now closed the practice to all appointments during the current phase of the Coronavirus outbreak. This means we will be stopping all appointments, including emergency treatment of all patients for the coming weeks, as instructed by the Chief Dental Officer, England.

We hope this change is short-lived but as always, our commitment to the health and safety of our patients and our people is paramount to us and means we are obliged to take this unprecedented step.

Whilst our physical building is closed, our practice is not… we are committed to offering a continued service of care to our patients during this time. We’re available at the end of the phone (07827 095 874), should you need us. If you need emergency care, contact the practice and one of our clinicians will be able to provide appropriate advice.

We appreciate your understanding at this unprecedented time.
